The Call for Abstracts for oral and poster presentations at the 11th European Space Weather Week is now open. This event will take place on 17-21nd November 2014 in Belgium and will include sessions on:

• Observing and predicting space weather driven ionospheric disturbances: observational networks and modelling techniques, new services and mitigation procedures
• Planetary Space Weather
• Transitioning space weather research to operations: learning from the NWP experience
• Solar activity as a driver for space weather and space weather modelling
• Key solar observables for assessing long-term changes of the Geospace
• Solar Energetic Particle Events: from forecast to radiation impact
• Contributions of commercial enterprises to space weather related science, services and tools
• Cross calibration of high energy particle measurements for heliospheric environment modelling
• Space based observing systems
• Space Climate
• Modelling the Earth’s ionosphere and solutions to counter ionospheric threats to GNSS applications
• Space Weather Challenges for Resource Exploitation
• Open Session on Recent Advances in Space Weather Science
• Open Session on Space Weather Applications and Engineering Concerns
