Abundance Variations and Fundamental Questions in Solar and Stellar Physics – COSPAR 2016

The abstract submission for the COSPAR meeting 30 July – 7 August, 2016 in Istanbul is open and we would like to draw your attention to the four sessions devoted to “Abundance Variations and Fundamental Questions in Solar and Stellar Physics“.

These sessions aim to bring together observers, modellers and theoreticians for a discussion of the implications of variable elemental abundances on our understanding of the formation, structure, and evolution of our Sun and solar system, and other stars and their exoplanetary systems. We encourage abstracts from all related research areas across astrophysics.

Invited speakers include Sarbani Basu, David Brooks, Justin Kasper, Martin Laming, Katharina Lodders, Pat Scott, and Paola Testa.

The complete description of the sessions can be found at: https://www.cospar-assembly.org/ (go to Detailed Scientific Event Programs, 41st COSPAR, D Space Plasma in the Solar System, then D2.6).

Best Regards,
Scientific Organizers of Event No. COSPAR 16 D2.6
