The University of California at Santa Cruz is pleased to announce the launch of the first International Summer Institute for Modeling in Astrophysics (ISIMA), which will take place from July 5th to August 13th 2010 on the beautiful Santa Cruz campus. The topic of the first Summer Program is “Transport Processes in Astrophysics”, with particular interest in hydrodynamical and magnetohydrodynamical processes (waves, turbulence) and radiative transfer.
