Second announcement:

IAGA Symposium No 2, entitled “Solar Wind-Space Environment Interaction”
at Cairo University (Egypt), December 4-8, 2009.

1- The deadline for submitting abstracts and registration will be extended to October 10, 2009, because some of the invited speakers have not submitted their abstracts yet, please submit your abstract using the symposium website: http://iaga.cu.edu.eg

2- No additional Registration fees will be paid after the registration deadline in this symposium.

3- The symposium Venue will be In Cairo University Conference Rooms. The Cairo University is outside the busy City centre, just 4 Km far away, with good public transportations available, including the metro. Many hotels are available close by. The average temperature in Cairo in December is about 20 degree C; it rains rarely, and humidity is low. The Map and all details will appear soon on the symposium website.

1- About accommodation: a nice three star Hotel close to Cairo University (5 minutes walk) with special rate for the meeting. There is a few rooms in Cairo University Guest House is available. There is many five star hotels around Cairo University (about 30 minutes walk) is available via website reservations. More Details about accommodation and Hotel reservation will be appear within few days on the symposium website, http://iaga.cu.edu.eg

2- Visa request: You can get your visa at Cairo International airport upon your arrival for most countries. Only few countries need visa from Egyptian embassy in their country. We can provide a formal letter of invitation to facilitate the delivery of a visa when needed. Send a request to me
