Continued Operation of the Nobeyama Radioheliograph

from Satoshi Masuda

As was informed in the 15-Mar-2015 issue of the Solarnews, the Nobeyama Radioheliograph is being operated by the International Consortium for the Continued Operation of Nobeyama Radioheliograph (ICCON; hinode.stelab.nagoya-u.ac.jp/ICCON/) since April 2015.

The successful operation has been possible with generous contribution of funds and labor by researchers in China, South Korea, UK, USA, Russia, and Japan.

All the data taken from the Nobeyama Radioheliograph are stored at the Solar Data Analysis System (SDAS), NAOJ (hinode.nao.ac.jp/SDAS/index_e.shtml) and at the Hinode Science Center, Nagoya University (hinode.stelab.nagoya-u.ac.jp/index.shtml.en). The data are available for free to the international science community, and can analyzed remotely at these two web sites.
