Please can I encourage you all to consider nominations for COSPAR awards. Anyone can make nominations for most awards and the usual process is for the UK National COSPAR Committee (c/o richard.harrison@stfc.ac.uk) to endorse nominations and make the formal submission.

This has to be done by the end of November, for awards to be given at the COSPAR Scientific Assembly in 2020.

There is a wide range of medals, so please do browse through them to identify potential awardees. Details can be found at  https://cosparhq.cnes.fr/awards and there is a good summary of the nomination process at the bottom of that web page.

Please submit nominations or make suggestions to the National Committee by the end of October so we have time to prepare the formal submission to COSPAR. Thank you.
