UCL-MSSL is pleased to announce the launch of Hinode EIS science nuggets. The nuggets are intended to give a brief overview of research highlights and the use of EIS data.

The inaugural nugget looks at the newly created EIS flare catalogue. The catalogue allows users to easily search, view and download EIS observations within a time range of 8 hours before and after the flare starts. Corresponding XRT and SOT data are also available as is a movie demonstrating the easy use of the catalogue.

Next month’s nugget is entitled “The Weird and Wonderful World of Widths”.
