Showcase and Briefing Event
STFC will shortly be launching two calls for:
• 21st Century Challenges Networks: building multidisciplinary communities to enable the STFC research community to build engagement with challenge owners and stakeholders in the areas of environment, infrastructure and resources; health; defence, security and resilience. Closing date 04/09/18

• Global Challenges Research Fund: maximising the practical impact of STFC-funded research and innovation address challenges faced by developing countries and to strengthen capability for research and innovation in support of economic development. Closing date 14/08/18

The event will showcase a selection of existing 21st Century Challenges Networks and Global Challenge Research Fund Foundation awards and will be of interest to STFC-funded researchers with an interest in applying STFC science and technology to challenges in the UK and in developing countries, as well as researchers and stakeholders from other disciplines interested in partnering with STFC-funded researchers.

On the day, there will be showcases from both the 21st Century Challenges Networks and GCRF award recipients as well as 1 to 1 surgery sessions.
