The Sun|trek website is going from strength to strength and the usage in the UK (USA and world-wide) is growing fast. One of the major updates we would like to make is to overhaul the information on the Solar Guides and if possible to link up with local outreach activities. In this regard, could I ask all the Solar Guides to review the information in their profile and to send me an updated version and any new photos and/or links. If any younger members of the solar community would like to get involved, and have their profile included, please could they also contact me. We would also like to make more use of the social networking sites (eg facebook) and other new technologies, i-phones, apps etc. If anyone has ideas how we (in the UK) could make more use of these new technologies (for promoting our solar research), it would be good to hear them. The USA/NASA seems to be ahead of us in this regard.
