STFC will begin a process to update current science challenges with a one-day workshop for advisory panel members. More details on the process can be found at http://eagle.imaps.aber.ac.uk/briefingadvpan.pdf . The Solar System Advisory Panel would welcome comments and feedback from the community, particularly in relation to the following two questions:
1. Do the current science challenges continue to reflect STFC’s science goals for the next 10 – 20 years, and if not, what changes are needed?
2. What refinements could be made to the description of science challenges to make them clearer / draw out the excitement of the research?
