KU Leuven (Belgium), Centre for Mathematical Plasma Astrophysics – PhD Position

The Centre for mathematical Plasma Astrophysics of the KU Leuven (Belgium) is advertising several PhD positions within the field of solar and plasma physics. The advert in the link below is intentionally formulated very broadly, because several PhD candidates will be selected from the pool of applicants, for several projects:

  • numerical modelling of MHD waves in the solar corona (Tom Van Doorsselaere)
  • particle-in-cell simulations and their coupling to MHD scales (Giovanni Lapenta)
  • 3D simulations of solar prominences (Rony Keppens)

Interested candidates should apply at
www.kuleuven.be/personeel/jobsite/jobs/55115343?hl=en&lang=en
before 27 May. The listed language requirement of Dutch is not needed for all of the above projects, so you may still apply if you do not qualify for that aspect.
