PhD Opportunities at MSSL, UCL

The Department of Space & Climate Physics (Mullard Space Science Laboratory in the beautiful countryside in Surrey, http://www.ucl.ac.uk/mssl/about-mssl/find-us/travel-by-car) at University College London is currently accepting the applications for several STFC studentships, cosmoparticle initiative PhD positions and one Royal Society (RS) funded 4 yr cosmology studentship, commencing in September 2018.

Applications from UK and EU students in the UK submitted by 4 February 2018 will be given full consideration for a STFC studentship, cosmoparticle initiative studentship and the RS studentship.

Research in the department encompasses a wide variety of topics in the areas of astrophysics, solar and space plasma physics, planetary science, imaging, detector physics, cryogenics, system engineering, climate extreme and space medicine. We welcome applications from enthusiastic students.
