UCLan Jeremiah Horrocks Institute: PhD Studentship in Solar Physics

Applications are invited for a full time PhD (via MPhil) studentship in Solar Physics in the Jeremiah Horrocks Institute, University of Central Lancashire, UK (www.star.uclan.ac.uk).

The university-funded studentship is tenable for up to 3.5 years full-time (subject to satisfactory progress) and includes a stipend and conference/collaboration travel funds. The studentship is open to all nationalities.

The research project is entitled “Determining the fine scale structure of the solar corona” and the successful applicant will be working with project supervisor, Professor Robert Walsh. Further details can be found at
