1. Metcalf Travel award applications now open

1. The Waves & Instabilities in the Solar Atmosphere (WISA) 2023 conference has been granted with the Thomas Metcalf SPD Travel Award. Full support (travel + accommodation + subsistence + registration) is now available for two participants.

Applications for this travel award are now open. Eligibility and other requirements are given at
https://spd.aas.org/prizes/metcalf. Any specific questions about the Metcalf program can be directed to Maria Kazachenko (maria.kazachenko@colorado.edu).

Interested applicants should send the following to the WISA-LOC (wisa.northumbria@gmail.com):
– Recent CV
– Case for support
– Letter of recommendation

The deadline for applications for this Metcalf Travel award is April 30, 2023.

2. Registrations to the WISA conference are now open at:
https://www.wisa2023.org/registration

Registration fee: £120 (includes Daily refreshments, Lunch, Welcome reception, and Conference dinner)
