The Expression of Interest stage for the UKRI Basic Technologies call is currently live (Develop basic technologies in sensing and imaging – UKRI). This is a cross-council pilot call which aims to accelerate the development of the next generation of tools and technologies that have the ability to make, measure, and model the world around us, co-funded by BBSRC, EPSRC, MRC, STFC, and AHRC. The scope of this opportunity is limited to interdisciplinary proposals which take a problem-driven approach to the development and application of basic technologies in sensing and imaging that will have an impact on UK science, society, and the environment. The EoI stage of this call closes on 16:00 on the 30th November 2021, opening to full applications from 7th December 2021 – 16:00 on the 3rd March 2022.
We are holding a webinar to provide an overview of the funding opportunity and provide an opportunity for potential applicants to ask any questions.
