Salary: £24,273-£28,983 pa

The Solar and Magnetospheric Theory Group has an opening for a Research Assistant to work in the field of solar physics, focussing on the analysis of observational data. Funded by an STFC Rolling Grant, this project will mainly be in collaboration with Drs I. De Moortel, C. Parnell, D. Mackay and Prof A. Hood. Experience analysing observational data and running observational compaigns is desirable but not essential. You should have recently completed or expect to obtain shortly a PhD in solar physics or a closely related subject.

This post is initially for a term of 1 year. The start date will be 1 April 2011 or as soon as possible thereafter.
