The Board of Trustees of the European Solar Telescope – Fundacion Canaria (EST-FC) has decided to open the call for applications for the Director and Administrator positions of the Foundation.
The EST-FC is a private non-profit organization established at the Canary Islands by Law 2/1998, of April 6, on Canary Islands Foundations and, supplementarily, by Law 50/2002, of December 26, on Foundations.
The Board of Trustees is composed by representatives of nine institutions from seven European countries: the Instituto de Astrofísica de Canarias, the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Cientificas, the Stockholms University, the Leibniz-Institut für Sonnenphysik, the Max-Planck-Institut für Sonnensystemforschung, Astronomicky ustav AV CR, v. v. i., the Astronomical Institute of the Slovak Academy of Sciences, the University of Sheffield (on behalf of the UK Universities Consortium), and the Universita della Svizzera Italiana.
