This session is dedicated to new observational results from present
space and ground-based observatories, and latest theoretical and
modelling research on the dynamics and structure of the Sun and the
interplanetary medium. We in particular welcome presentations on
new advances about the physics of solar eruptions, heating of the
corona, origin and acceleration of the solar wind, acceleration and
transport of energetic particles, plasma waves and turbulence as
well as their interactions with particles, and the dynamics/structure
in the interplanetary space. The session is aimed at stimulating
discussions and exchanges from different perspectives to improve
our understanding of the Sun and the interplanetary medium as a
system.
