As we mentioned back in January, UK Solar Physics had an outstanding result at the 2015 RAS Awards, presented this year at NAM’s conference dinner. The citations were (admirably) read by impressionist and regular on The Sky at Night, Jon Culshaw, and presented by RAS President, Martin Barstow. Huge congratulations once again from UKSP to Alan Hood (St Andrews), Mike Lockwood (Reading), Lidia van Driel-Gesztelyi (UCL Mullard Space Science Lab), Helen Mason (DAMTP, Cambridge), Rick Morton (Northumbira) and the Hinode-EIS team for their respective awards, as well as to Simon Candelaresi (Dundee), who won the NAM Postdoctoral Poster Prize!
