NAM 2022 Session: Observing and modelling plasma flows and MHD waves in the lower solar atmosphere

NAM 2022 ( 11th – 15th July 2022) –- Call for Abstracts for the session “Observing and modelling plasma flows and MHD waves in the lower solar atmosphere ”

We are pleased to invite you to submit an abstract for consideration for our session at the National Astronomy Meeting 2022.
https://nam2022.org/science/parallel-sessions/details/2/165

The session focuses on current and future observing synergies for multi-instrument, high-resolution observations and the development of advanced numerical MHD simulations describing the many phenomena in the lower atmosphere. We encourage broad participation of our colleagues to advertise their research, especially on the following topics:

MHD wave generation Small-scale photospheric magnetic fields, Coherent plasma structures (e.g., vortices, source/sink type motions and laminar flows, spicules, swirls, Ellerman bombs, magnetic bright points, sunspot structures/flows) Energy transport between lower and upper solar atmosphere layers and turbulent plasma processes

The deadline for abstract submission is 14th April 2022. For abstract submission, please follow this link https://nam2022.org/science/abstract-submission and select session Solar8.

Best Regards,
Suzana de Souza e Almeida Silva, Youra Taroyan, Peter F. Wyper, Gary Verth, and Viktor Fedun
