We’re excited to be planning our second Annual Meeting, on 28th and 29th June in Sheffield. It’s great to see so many people already registered.

This meeting will be focussed around the projects we funded in the first funding round, and with plenty of time for small group and 1:1 discussion between talks in the hope of stimulating new project ideas ahead of the future funding rounds. We also cleared the schedule for the second afternoon to allow time for “unconference” (spontaneously scheduled according to interest) group activities and/or discussions you would like to have with existing or potential collaborators.

Our deadline for registrations is the end of the day this Friday (15th June) so if you’d like to join us please make sure you register by this time in order to secure your place.

The event will be held at Inox in the Students Union Building – you can find directions to this through our registration page along with details of our current draft agenda.

If you would like to stay overnight then you may wish to book into one of the following hotels that have been recommended to us – these are all within a 20minute walk/5minute taxi ride of the venue and have free parking for residents*

• Jonas Hotel (£55BB)
• Student Accommodation (£40RO)

*if you require parking at the Jonas Hotel please let me know and I will email a temporary permit to you
