Not only are we holding a Specialist Discussion Meeting on “Magnetic reconnection: where now and where next?” … but – following the meeting – Professor Sandra Chapman from the University of Warwick will deliver the 2014 RAS James Dungey lecture.
Entitled “Reconnection and turbulence: thinking in pictures”, Professor Chapman’s lecture will be held at 4pm as part of the RAS ordinary meeting in The Geological Society, Burlington House, London.
This is a final reminder that anyone wishing to contribute to the Discussion Meeting (oral or poster) is asked to submit an abstract via the meeting website by the end of Sunday 2nd November. The programme will be announced as soon as possible thereafter.
Please note that it is not necessary to register in advance in order to attend the meeting (or Dungey Lecture), but only in order to submit an abstract. Feel free to contact one of us if you have any questions.
