We are excited to announce that Northumbria University will play host for the STFC Introduction to Solar and Solar Terrestrial Physics Summer School.

Whilst we organise the programme, we would like to encourage all students who have either started their PhD since the last summer school or who will be joining our community in September/October, or indeed any other interested parties, to register interest below, to be held 21-26 August 2022 at Northumbria University in Newcastle.  A website will be created shortly but in summary:

• This school is free to attend for all STFC students, but we also offer places for non-STFC students at cost so please get in touch if you would like to come but are not STFC funded
• STFC has also given us funds to support those with caring or other responsibilities to ease difficulties in attending residential courses – please get in touch if this applies to you!

Please could you circulate the link to your students, colleagues and collaborators and encourage prospective attendees to fill it in by 30^th June so that we can start to plan for numbers
